Bonaire Travel NV is the newest travel agency to open on Bonaire in the
Netherlands Antilles, serving both business and leisure clients. Since
opening in late 1999, Bonaire Travel has always aimed to understand the
travel requirements of our customers. Managing Director Natasja Statie-Gerharts

We specialize in many types of travel products, including cruises. We
represent seven of the world's largest cruise lines and can offer a wide
selection of cruise destinations and vessels. Our links to GALILEO's global
reservations system offers our customers direct secure SSL access to air,

SAFETY
& SECURITY INFORMATION
Travelers need to arrive at the airport for at least three hours prior
to their scheduled flights to accommodate increased security measures
. These include searches at airport parking and immediate towing of any
unmanned vehicles . Some curbside check-ins will be permitted . Expect
an increased number of bag searches and restriction of secured areas (past
metal detectors) to only ticketed passengers . Photo IDs will be required
and e-ticketed passengers will need the e-ticket receipt to pass through
security. Also expect random searches and repeated requests for identification.

Dutch
Caribbean Express is a new airline which was just created. The airline
will operate Dash 8-300s and fly among the Caribbean islands of Bonaire,
St. Maarten, Aruba, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico but their destinations
list and schedule may change shortly. DCE's new logo is a stylized
red hiibiscus flower, which is known as "Kayena" in Papiamento
and was designed by Curacao artist Jan Hagen. A life-like red flower
also adorns the aircraft's tail.

Mr. Joseph Alvarez Correa, and S.E.L. Maduro & Sons NV, opened
Maduro's Bank. In 1932 Maduro's Bank merged with Curiel's Bank,
forming Maduro & Curiel's Bank. MC Bank operates 31 branches
on Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Maarten and St. Eustatius
and is the largest commercial bank in the Dutch Caribbean.
